A big generate data are required data compression technique implimentation. Data compression is a technique in which data is represented using a fewer number of bytes than the its original amount. It is used for the purpose of decreasing the a mount of storage space needed in order to represen at certain data or information. Data compression had been a standard de factor in Information Technology In dustry which is implimented on application data either of text,audio dan video. Although, there are too many technique for data compression but all of the processing used a serial manner. The purpose of this tesis is to study the Huffman Algorithm Coding and analyse the method on how to compress the data in parallel for the optimization execution time of data compression with Parallel Huffman Coding Programming.Both of parallel and serial Huffiman Coding is execute on a CRAY Supercomputer.The time of execution will be compared graphically to show the difference of the algorithm which was executed serially and parallely.00
