Numerical Control (NC) Code generated automatically by the Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system are able to produce manufacturing product more efficiently in a shorter processing time. The integration between CAD/CAM systems is one of the important elements in the manufacturing life cycle. The most important element in generating the NC code is the machine parameters. Selecting the suitable tools and suitable machining parameters with the most optimum time are problems usually occur in producing one product. The main purpose for this project is to optimize the value of the machining parameters, high cost material and labors energy.A product produced by Pusat Pemindahan Teknologi, Biro lnovasi Dan Perundingan(BIP) named Stopper-Bush has been the object researched in this project. Two types of machining process, lathe and drill have been used in producing this product. Mastercam Version 8.1 software is used thoroughly in this project. Other than that, Microsoft Excel software is used in data analyzing and generating statistic descriptive output. All the machining parameters values that involved have been analyzed.A methodology of producing manufacturing product is used as a guideline in producing this product. In the end of this project, the most optimum machining parameters value is identified. Animated and graphical simulation manufacturing process of the product is the output generated in Mastercam.Hopefully this project will help the technicians at Pusat Pemindahan Teknologi, BIP to identify the optimum machining parameter values and furthermore to produce better quality product.
