Abstract

Management Information System On Car Service Centre & Spare Parts is developed to manage the modules that involve with activities in service centre and any car spare parts business at this location research: Rahman Brothers and Company Private Limited Car Service Centre & Spare Parts. This system intend to records, manage and update the customers information, daily transaction, billing, inventory and generate business documents. The importance is that it helps to manipulate several problems in updating records that face by the combination of the manual system and current system with the DOS version that lack of customer service. After all,it help the process of the service centre management easier. The Client-Server concept and application of Prototyping Strategy, including the performance ofthe System Development Life Cycle that is the importance of this management system. It developed in Microsoft Windows 98 surroundings and using Microsoft Access 97 as database management application, Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 as developing surface application and Crsytal Reports Pro as a report developer.
