Abstract

In alignment with the development of information technology nowadays,it is essential for an organisation to use a system through the Internet. In order to meet that requirement, a detail study has been carried out towards the compound payment system by the road users as the result of traffic violation that is issued by the Unit Penguatkuasa, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan(JPJ) Negeri Johor. The scope of the research is done only in within the violation that can be compounded(not a court case) and issued by JPJ Johor Bahru. JPJ E-compound or also known as compound Payment system online is developed in mean of providing a facility, to the system users which is the road users(compound payer) under vehicles and road classification. Other than that, it is also for the mean of helping JPJ in the process of recording and obtaining the compound information quickly and the payment process which can be done by using a credit card efficiently and security guarantee. It is also for the JPJ to issue records and statistics that would be needed by the JPJ. Methodology that is used in the development system, which is Evolution prototype Approach. This system is developed by using the latest web page technology and provides interactive, interesting and user-friendly interface. The conclusion is, JPJ E-Compound is a compound payment system online that is developed based on web and electronic trade characteristic
