Image integrity is one of the subject matter that we should take care if it involves sending process in computer network. In this project, research to Bitmap image processing, RIPEMD-160 hashing function algorithm and one of the Steganography technique, Least Significant Bit (LSB) is used to make sure the integrity of the image. Bitmap image is one of the image format in the Windows operating system. It will be the part of input for hashing process in the RIPEMD-I60 hashing function algorithm. The unique value from hashing process will be hidden to the container image. The container image is also in Bitmap format. To do this, the Least Significant Bit (LSB) is used. To check the integrity of the image, receiver must retrieve the hash value that hidden in container image and then compare it with the calculate hashing value from Bitmap image. If the value is equal, it means that Bitmap image maintain its integrity. However if the value is incompatible with hash value from Bitmap image, it means that image have changed. For this system development, Unified Modeling Language (UML)is being used as the methodology and the building software is Delphi 3.0 while the programming language is Object Pascal.
