Abstract

Flood is one of the nature's phenomenons that always run down our country and caused a lot of damage and death. Therefore, the Flood Level Monitoring Simulation System that implemented the computer network into Visual Basic 6.0 is developed to overcome these problems. The main focus of this system is to give the fire brigades the ability to gain the information on flood area and flood level as quick as possible via the graphical user interface (GUI) anytime the system pleased. The usage of the simulation is to show the increasing level of water and act as a media to generate the input to start the system. With this system, the fire brigades do not have to wait for the phone calls made by the communities to get that information before they can lend some help. In other hand, this system will inform them the exact information and in a faster way. Thus, they can help the victims quicker than before and avoid more destruction. Hopefully, this Flood Level Monitoring Simulation System can facilitate the communication between the flood areas with the fire brigades for the sake of human being
