Diabetes is an ailment that could infect children, teens and adults. For this reason, it is a necessity to provide information and knowledge regarding this disease because of its vulnerability to all. Kiosk Maklumat Kesihatan Diabetes (KMKD) was proposed specially for users that requires information easily and effectively. The development of the system is based on expert system. The methodology used for the system development process is prototype. The modules in the system are update module, information module and diagnosis module. Activities for information gathering were initialized by revision on books, internet browsing and research on existing systems. The main objective of this project is to diagnose Diabetes Mellitus complications based on the symptoms provided by users that are then match to the knowledge base kept in the system. The knowledge base that is supplied by experts includes symptoms and treatments are kept in a repository. The inference engine includes rules and facts are modified by using Ansi Common Lisp and Allegro CL 6.0 is selected as the software development language because of its environment that suits expert system. Hopefully, the disorder faced by diabetes patient can be easily understood by giving people the information and suggested treatment in making the diagnosis.
