Abstract

The incrementing numbers of unemployment and competitions in job market are getting tough. Some of the unemployed actually graduating with good grades. Most of them must complete each other to attain a job, even though that particular job does not match with their qualifications. On the other hand, majority of companies are offering jobs openly because it’s hard to choose candidates which really qualified to certain job post. This is because, not every candidates interviewed meets its requirement. Through available system, this situation has been simplified. Candidates detailed background could be stored within system and employer can be searching through all candidates that satisfy its requirements. However, there are restrictions in the available system. For example, the selection process is still difficult in the current system. To solve this issue, an employer-employee matching system based on multimedia resume could be develop especially to assist employer in selecting the best candidate. The system will be able to filter out suitable candidates based on job requirements. Model prototyping would be use as methodology in developing "Employer-Employee Matching System Based on Multimedia Resume". This model allows the system verification process to be done several time and it also involving user in the earlier stage of system developement. Latest technologies that suit the system needs is also being studied. In conclusion, we hope that the newly developed system meets the user spectations and solving the issues using the currently available system.
