Abstract

Any disease related to hearts is a cardiovascular disease which is the main cause of death agreeable by most Malaysian doctors. Hence, 'Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Penyakit Jantung Melalui Pendekatan Penaakulan Deduktif Menggunakan Hujahan Berasaskan Peraturan' is being developed using artificial intelligence (AI) technique. The inference rules are being developed in order to perform the process of diagnosing heart disease in the inference engine. Rules are used to represent the knowledge of the domain while forward chaining search is used in the process of generating the result of diagnosis. Prototype methodology and LISP (List Processing) programming language are applied in order to develop this system. Briefly, this system will get inputs interactively from the users based on the symptoms of the disease. Once a disease is identified, a recommendation is given for further diagnosis. Hopes that this system will be useful to the users in helping them to get information regarding heart disease and diagnosing the patient with the possibility of heart disease.
