Nowadays, the information technology is a hot topic discussed in our country. It is apllied in almost all field in this country such as Science, Economy, Education Health, Communication, etc. Whether it is in the government sector or private with the intention to smoothen an ease the work in the specified field. No doubt that the integrity or the success of an achivement depends on how many informations they have. Computers are an important element in information technology. It can assist us in storage and managing the information. The information increases from day to day therefore there is a need for speed computers to access the information in various storage sizes such as 100 MB, 200 MB and possibly 1 GB. This project done to implement the B+ Tree access method. This method can afford to give the answers towards a faster acces time that is faced using an intermediate memory size efficiently. In this project the Kamus Inggeris - Melayu Dewan dictionary published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka is used as a material to implement this access method, this is because the characteristic of the dictionary has many data but not limited and needs an access method for words fast, efficient suitable with B+ Tree structure.
