Abstract

K-economy and e-learning is a fast growing field with numerous commercial and freeware systems for computer based learning available on the market. These systems mostly target to make student-lecturer interaction more effective and enabling the lecturer to be more in control of the class. The Online Random Test Generator and Student Results Analysis System has set its goal to deliver a test set of randomly generated question based on the time and date stated. It also focuses on analysing the student's results not only by analysing the performance and average of the class, but also taking note the topics that needed more attention in order to improve understanding for the students. The common random number generating algorithm enhanced with a mechanism to make sure no repetitions of numbers are made is used in generating the test sets. This system is developed using the object-oriented approach with the prototyping methodology along with the unified Modelling Language (UML).
