Abstract

Process of car searching and price dealing are still manage by manually system, which mean the buyer have to do some task as searching and choosing the car as they desired. The consequence from this matter is the user may did not find the best deal as they want to get. The lack of efficiency such as self searching, time consuming and do not have price dealing utility are still the barrier for the existence e-commerce applications. Software agent technology has been developed to improve this kind of constraint. The objective of this project is to develop an online system which called car agent searching and dealing system using agent technology. Although, the searching and dealing process have been limited in a domain server, which the buyer and seller agent interact each other in the server to achieve their own objectives. The benefit of using this application is user will get the information of the car seller including the chosen car specification and the price in a proper way. Agent oriented methodology is used for suiting the system development life cycle. Agent Oriented Unified Modeling Language (AUML) technique is used to design the whole system. This project use Microsoft Visual Interdev 6.0 to develop interactive web site, while Java programming language and JATLite package used as a toolkit for developing the agent system environment.
