Sistem Penilaian Pemakanan Seimbang is an assessment system for determining whether the daily food intake by a person fulfills the energy and nutrition required by his or her body. Assessment is done based on the sum of energy and nutrition from the food taken 7 times a day (or less) including snacking by a person and the analysis can be carried without any limits. The average of the food intake is then compared with the energy and nutrition required by the person's body based on the calculation made by the dietitian using certain formulas. There are certain softwares for assessing the food intake of a person and runs under DOS environment. Until now, there are no software that operates under windows environment. With the system that will be developed, it can assis the dietitian in his or her calculation and provide the dietitian with a user friendly Windows environment. It is hoped, the system that will be developed can assist the dietitian in balancing the energy and nutrition required by the person's body with the energy and nutrition in the person's daily food intakes.
