Abstract
Nowadays, computer plays a big role in most organizations to perform management activities. Textbook Scheme Loan Management System for Sekolah Menengah Sains Tuanku Ja'afar is a computer-based system to help the school to manage the textbooks loan. It is attempted to replace the manual system that is being used currently at the school. The purpose of the system is to identify the qualified students who meet certain criteria to borrow the textbooks, as well as to manage the textbooks. Prototyping model will be used as the methodology to develop the system. It will be used in the school intranet and only registered user can use this system. It is developed using Microsoft Active Server Pages and Microsoft Access 2000 as the database. Hopefully the system will be beneficial in managing the Textbook Scheme Loan and will improve the quality of work in the school management.
