Abstract

Quality Control is one of the aspects that have been pointed for some organization that involved in industry. Quality of the product not just gives more satisfaction to the customer but also can ensure and increased the profit of the organization. In Muarlite Industries Sdn Bhd, the quality control systems were done manually. The Statistical Product Control (SPC) technique was not fully implemented and there is time consuming in generating the report and graph. In order to overcome these problems, technique in SPC such as Histogram, Pareto Chart, Control Chart and acceptance Sampling Based on Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) are used. The methodology would be used for quality control system development is base on System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). So, the system were expected could process the data analysis, give a guideline to the user about the best acceptance level and also generate the report for weekly, monthly and an annually. The case study is focus on the ignition that been done in quality control department. Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software was used to create the interface for the system while Microsoft Access XP software will be used as the database.
