Benchmark is a software application that can be use to measure the performance of personal computer system. The main objective of Benchmark is to compare the differential speed between varies computer systems. Most of today's older benchmark application is used to measure the current technology at that particular time. Therefore, the UTM Bench software had been designed at the right moment to measure the latest technologies such as Pentium Pro, Pentium II and Pentium MMX Two methodologies that are used to develop this software are Cycle Life Development System and Object Oriented. The two major functions for this application is the capability test functiorz on the performance of computer system and a report of performance for the tested computer system. The graphs comparison had been provided to show the differential of perfonnance between varies computer systems. This will help users to simply know the performance of the computer system that they are using. This study is mainly concerned on the statistical analysis and accuracy characteristic. The performance components of computer system that will be measure by 'Benchmark' software will include processor (CPU), Floating-Point Unit (FPU) and memory system. All the three components is measured with respect of the speed, capability, time requirement and others.
