Abstract

The PRINCE2 Template Management System is a web-based system, which provides dynamic templates for users in managing a project. The users involved in this system are Project Board, Executive, Senior User, Senior Supplier, Project Manager, Team Manager, Project Assurance, Project Support, Configuration Librarian and Project support Office (PSO). Many projects nowadays are running manually by using available template or forms. Therefore users seldom faced many difficulties in managing the wide varieties of documents efficiently within the project. Besides, using physical copies of printed documents do not provide flexibility for inserting and updating information when needed. Due to this problem, developing PRINCE2 Template Management System to smoothen and improve the process is required. The users such as Project Manager. inserts specific information into the necessary template and after that submits to intended users. Intended users can update and modify the data in the digital template easily. Besides that, the system also let users that involves in the project knows what to expect, by providing reports generated for them. It is hope that, with this system. the management of documents within a project can be more efficient. thus contributing to effective project management.
