Abstract

The research for this project covered on finding the method solve the system of Nonlinear Equations. The solutions of system of Nonlinear equations are to find the approximation value for variables(x1,x2,...,xN,,) that is fulfill the equation in the systems.The research start on methods to solve the nonlinear equations which are Bisection Method, Newton Method and Fix-Point Iteration Method.Slowest methods are Bisection Method which can solved the equation. Different from Newton Method whereby the method are the fastest methods compared to other methods. Moreover, the research also covered on the linear equation systems,which include inverse for matrix.The concept in Nonlinear Equation system is a combination of Nonlineor Equation and Linear Equation system. One of the methods, which are discussed in this project,is Fix-Point Iteration method,Newton-Raphson method and Quasi-Newton(Broyden)method.The methods are implemented in to the system by using Microsoft visual Basic 6.0. The report is discussing the differences between all the methods based on error analysis and their rates of convergence.
